do you offer premarital counseling as well?
Yes! Couples use Ours for many different life moments and we’ll make sure to find a couples therapist and content for whatever you need, whether that be premarital counseling, preparing for having kids, working on a particular conflict, or anything else.
How are we matched with a therapist?
After choosing your payment package, you will fill out an initial therapist matching assessment. This covers questions related to your needs and preferences as a couple and allows us to find and match you with the perfect couples therapist for you.
Although it happens rarely, sometimes couples don’t feel that their therapist is a good fit. Just let our support team know, along with some details of what might be a better fit, and we’ll get to work on matching you with someone new.

Ours is here to support you and your partner, no matter where you are in your relationship journey. In a study conducted by the AAMFT, 90% of couples who underwent couples therapy reported an improvement in their emotional health, and almost two-thirds reported an improvement in their physical health.
Ours is different from traditional therapy in a few key ways. In particular, Ours is completely virtual, focused only on couples therapy, and filled with tools designed to improve the experience. These tools include hand-picked matching, guided conversations, virtual card decks, and more. We’re confident you’ll recognize the difference immediately.
How soon will I be matched with a therapist?
Generally we match couples with a therapist within 2 business days. We will always reach out to you if we anticipate your match will take more than a couple of days.
On average, couples see their therapist 6 days after they are matched. Once you are matched with your therapist, you will be able to see their availability and book directly.
Do you accept insurance?
We’re focused on providing transparent pricing and premium service. In addition, many insurance plans don’t cover couples therapy, but depending on your plan, you may be able to use out of network or corporate benefits with Ours.
how much does it cost?
Ours is premium couples therapy. We are committed to paying above market rates to experienced, world class couples therapists. We believe so much in the quality of our therapists and the overall Ours experience, that we offer a $50 one-time session for new couples.
After that, if you’d like to continue, you can pay $200 per hour for a la carte, single sessions or save up to 25% with multi-session packages.
